Lewis Hamilton wax figure to join Madame Tussads A-List

You know that you're a huge success when a wax figure of you is displayed at Madame Tussauds London. The famous museum announced today that work is underway on a wax figure of Formula One superstar Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton's figure will join the lineup of sporting greats in the interactive Sports Zone in early 2009. Lewis sat down with the Madame Tussauds' studio team where 300 measurements and reference shots were taken. Lewis' wax figure will be wearing an exact replica of his Vodafone McLaren Mercedes race suit and he will be holding a replica of his race helmet. The figure will take six months to create at a cost of £150,000 ($233,172 USD). Source: McLaren
